Advice for patients attending appointments

If you are coming to an appointment at Kingsbridge Hearing Care please attend alone where possible to help us maintain social distancing in our waiting areas and clinic rooms.  If you require transport/assistance, your companion should remain in the car where possible, whilst adhering to social distancing measures.

Please arrive on time. We have additional infection control procedures in place between appointments and as such, if you arrive late, we may not be able to see you. Likewise, if you arrive early, we may not be able to accommodate you in the waiting area, in this instance would ask that patients remain in their car, or outside the premises respecting social distancing, until their appointment time.

If you are attending one of our hospital-based clinics, a nurse will check your temperature on entering the building.  Please report to reception to confirm your arrival and maintain social distancing in the waiting area.  Please do not enter any consultation rooms until you are invited to do so by a member of staff.

We carry out a range of services at our clinic, at present some of these procedures require us to use personal protective equipment or PPE.  If part of your appointment requires a member of staff to be within a 2metre distance of you staff will wear appropriate PPE.  If you have a face mask, we would ask that you wear this to your appointment. If you do not have a face mask one can be provided for you.

These measures have been put in place in the interests of patient safety and we thank you in advance for your assistance.
